Only .2mm thicker while being 0.2mm shorter and 1.6mm less wide?
Definitely not going to be an increase of 1000mah to a 4000mah battery at that rate.
Might still see the 3500mah at least.

There's no way they would make the note smaller than the S7 edge. The S7 edge has a 5.5 inch screen and 72.6 mm width, which means that at 74.5 mm the note will have a 5.7 - 5.8 inch screen.

Why don't they stick to A7(2016)'s design and just add a pen in there.

I think this time the note6/7 only had the edge for looks. Otherwise, it will canibalize the sales of the S7 edge. So I think Samsung will only make the note 6/7 edge smaller compared to the S7 edge.
