Anonymous, 06 Jun 2016I have S5 G900F, in Europe, and not receiving yet the updat... moreWTF is wrong with you?
Why should it matter IF you get Android? Most (if not all) of it's features have been implemented through Touchwiz. You've had since KitKat power-saving modes, multi-window and a lot of other features that are now appearing in standard Android. So what is all the fuzz about?

I just don't understand why you are all so fucked up about these "upgrades"? In fact the most important feature of Lolipop was 64-bits support which can't be utilized on the 32-bits SD801 SoC anyway, so what's the big deal? It's not about the OS but all about the apps. And 99% still runs on Android 4.x and up. The few things that don't run are the camera apps that have RAW support. But all the games run, all the office suits, all the Mediaplayers, all the regional apps.

In fact all those white infused UI elements decrease battery life (in that AMOLed screen) and therefore nullifies the efforts from "doze". And these pale flat icons are Fugly! I've already experienced ugly flat UI's in the 90's (Amiga, Apple, Acorn, Atari, old windows) and I don't want then now! I want beautiful crafted skeuomorphic UI's and rich design instead.

first Samsung I have ever bought also didn't got any update. That was galaxy core. And now s5 is stuck in lollipop. I think I should go for iPhone for my next phone. Soon I will ditch Samsung forever.
