07 June, 2016
Today, Apple released 8 new 16 second ads that are part of its widely successful “Shot on iPhone” marketing campaign that started just over a year ago. Images shot with customers’ iPhone were blown up and displayed for the public to see what kind of photos the iPhone is capable of.

Battery tests mean nothing to you. Ever looked at PA's battery test? You'll get served.
Wireless charging is slow as hell. Now don't claim facts about 'Fast Wireless Charging'. Its only faster than other wireless chargings. Not faster than cable charging.
Infact wired chargers are better. I can atleast use my phone in my hand rather waiting and shouting, 'Hey dont pick it up. Its on charging'.
Camera poor? Why do you visit these sites when you never trust any benchmarks or tests?

So many people making so many irrelevent comments.

Before starting, I would like to mention my name. MaemoSymAndy. The OS I like(d) the most is(was) Maemo. The one offered in Nokia N900. It was a masterpeice. I am a huge fan of Symbian as well. And Android is a star!

I guess you wont call me an iOS fanboy now.

People comparing Turtles to Tortoise. But highlighting differences so much that they don't even look like each other any more. Yes, they are very similar indeed.
Both originated from Unix but evolved to two different characters.
Android boasts customization of the next level. iOS is simple yet advanced.
Android is allrounder. iOS focuses on productivity.
Not that Android is not productive, or less by any means, iOS is more.
Even many Android manufacturers are moving towards a drawerless home screen. LG and Samsung has given the option. MIUI, Oppo, Huawei are already there. Holo Launcher is one of the hottest thing on Play Store. Android is adopting simplicity. iOS is adopting complex features. These are simply two different tastes. I like the beauty of iOS with flexibility of Android. So I prefer MIUI over anything else.

As far as hardware is concerned, there is a vast R 'n' D under the hood of different manufacturers. While Samsung, LG, HTC and other major players are boosting screen and other technical things thinking about technological advancements, Apple on the other hands focuses on cunsumers' need. People do not understand difference between 'want' and 'need'. I like super resolutions but do I really need them? I have a Note 3 and Note 4 and I am pretty much satisfied with my Note 3 screen. 1080p is enough. Note 4 is good, but Note 3 seems as good as Note 4 to me. S6, S7 are definitely good, but I do not 'need' the 2K screen. Hardware is pretty much comparable. It doesn't even matter what my phone uses. If a 2GB RAM gives me stutter free performance, I literally do not need 4GB RAM. All I need a smooth performance. I am happy with my Note 3 and Note 4, but I doesn't mean 2GB iPhone is crap. People complaining iPhone uses 2 years old hardware. Literally pointless. FHD Computer monitors are still in mainstream. Mediocre laptops are still using HD+(768p) screens. iPhone 6 and 6s offers 326 ppi and if not great, that's good enough for anything. Video playback on 1080p screen and 2K screen is similar. PA tests proved this almost 2 years back. And that 'old' 8MP camera of iPhone 6 offers 1.5 micron pixel with phase detection. Show my one phone with 1.5 micron camera with PDAF from 2014? That time, HTC was using 2 micron pixels but way to low resolution. S5 was using 16MP camera with PDAF but was smaller pixels, only 1.12 micron in size. Its always about experiment. iPhone 6 offered a balanced design. and 'world' knows the low light performance of iPhone. The best 8MP camera. And a nice 8MP camera is enough for nice A4 prints. Missing 4K? How often do you record in 4K? Its nice, but only if you can afford it. By affording, I mean an equally good TV at home and equally better storage options. 4K is nice, but 1080p is even better seeing the versatality. Everyone can afford it. 1080p is definitely smaller than 4K but that doesn't make it any worse. And iPhone 6 can be used for 4:3 4K recordings using ProCam 3.

Its upto you what you want to use. Fanboys create useless hype and argue over little things.
Relax. iPhones and Androids are both improving.

                #Peace
I dont prefer iOS over Android and vice versa. I just respect quality. It doesn't matter who works under Samsung or Apple. For me, these all companies are offering me quality products.

PS: Shot on Galaxy S7 would have flooded the internet. Shot on iPhone is good.

If you ever used the camera on a Galaxy S6 and onward, you already know the iPhone camera is not as good or even sucks. These "Shot on iPhone" advertisements are all a bunch of crap and this is Apple's way of hiding the inferior camera.

I just cannot found any reason to "pay more for less". Not saying iphone would not do what I want... though I might need to jail break it.. But is siply matter .. if I am paying £500 for phone why should I choose one which is less advanced? Finally, I don't like apple moral aspect - exploiting poor chinese workers for maximum profit.. and pretending to be premium brand. Why don't they hire Swiss watch makers and local Americans.. to make their phone premium from beginning to the end? Yes you right Samsung does have chinese factories, somehow it is unheard that Samsung employees are committing suicide or getting bling or getting their limbs amputated from excessive use of dangerous chemicals. Nor underage workers being paid less than $2 a day making Samsung phones.

Talking about features is as well plentiful - original dual edged display, best camera, smart stay, water proofing, expandable memory, freedom of file sharing, freedom of memory (no need itunes), freedom of file formats (no need to convert anything). No need to register and provide my personal and bank details, just to download free app or update... and list continues.

Somehow apple manages to make their iphone for $120, while Samsung display alone is ~$200. If it doesn't make iphone inferior.. then at least comfort of knowing nobody was hurt in making my phone and that I am at least paying fair price, without contributing to 700% profit makes me feel better and choose Samsung over Apple.

A9 is not more advanced chipset.. it does take lead in single threaded processes, because it runs on higher rate, but looses on multitasking. Smartphones are all about multitasking, so ultimately apple looses this argument, plus running on higher rate A9 is less power efficient. You car example is just more irrelevant then the rest.. so you saying you don't mind driving Hyundai (assuming it is made by chinese slaves workers), because it is enough, even though Ferrari is cheaper and better. I am not surprised with you irrelevant logic - apple (and subsequently apple fans logic) was always - "less is more"... This was just recently tweaked a bit - "if you pay more for less, it becomes more" (well not really... it is still less)..

but the truth is, it doesnt matter what typwe of hardware or software is in a phone, if a phone does everything what a customer wants it to do then they will be happy with their phone regardless if theres another phone with more battery life or more mega pixels.
iphones function just fine, people dont spend majority of time customising their OS on their phone, but instead they open apps they want to use and iphone users are more than happy with apps on their phones bcuz the same apps on androids function in exactly the same way on ios so iphone users happily use their devices with no issues. it doesnt matter if you think iphones have outdated hardware bcuz if you run the same apps on ios and android u will notice they function the same.
if you drive a car then u compare your car to a ferrari then your cars hardware and engine would be outdated compared to the ferrari but you wouldnt care bcuz ur car does evrything just fine and takes u places just fine so u wudnt need to sell your car if theres a better car with extra features and phones are just the same wether its ios or android or windows. if they do things just fine then theres no problem. thats why it dont matter wat trolls think

Simple fact - iphone uses outdated hardware which is ~2-3 years old. Yes it is still good... yet there are much better phones around. I can simply go to GSMarena comparison shots and compare iphone 6s with galaxy s7 (conveniently both devices have 12mp now). The fact is under any circumstances s7 gets more details in both video and picture. iPhone might beat s7 for onscreen benchmarks, but that is not fair tests ... s7 has to power 3.7MP screen (2560x1440), while iphone powers tiny sub-HD, weird resolution screen at 1MP (750x1334). Now even primary screen pupil can count, s7 needs to power 3,7x larger picture... And not only that.. Samsung is water proof, has better battery life, is cheaper, has expandable memory, more advance payment system, wireless and fast charging and much more.Simply incomparable devices. Finally s7 is one of many android options... so there is plenty more on android table..

maybe you should recheck the reviews of iphone 6 and 6s with its outdated hardware that performs better than flagship android phones in alot of the benchmark results. these results shed some light on why people with iphones are happy with their devices and opinions of trolls wont change anything one bit.
there is nothing wrong with the iphone cameras either. a few months ago this very website compared the iphone 6s camera with the galaxy s7 camera. galaxy s7 camera has one of the best cameras from flagship android phones and the results in the article proved most shots were identical apart from low light photos where s7 came out better but the conclusion was there is not much difference in both cameras.
but trolls will be trolls and will carry on disliking things they dont like but this website proves these iphones are great devices which they are
