T-Mobile Tuesday app instantly #1 in App Store, #2 in Play Store

The result of such an overwhelming demand for free Domino’s pizza and Frosty’s made the T-Mobile Tuesdays app rank to the top of both the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. The App Store listed T-Mobile Tuesday as #1 in free apps while Google Play listed the same app for Android as #1 in trending apps and #2 in Top New Free.

But then again it's all based from the developers work whether they fail/lazy or not.

          what's with the ratings when you compare Apple's and Google's app stores? on the play store, every app i ever downloaded had at least 4 stars, usually 4.5 or 5, and i generally see many 4 to 5 star apps no matter what i'm looking for. when browsing Apple's store, however, i feel like most apps crawl around 3 stars, just like in that image here. are the apps actually worse than those on Android or is the average Apple user more demanding? or maybe the ratings are calculated differently?
