Not everyone wants a QWERTY & not everyone wants a large phone or needs a big screen. ...but I already have an N82 & who wants to learn a new keypad configuration? Nokia needs to stop coming out with so many irrelevant & redundant phones and let the N8 enjoy the limelight for a while so it can make a dent, much the same way Apple lets it's iPhones grow in popularity before coming out with another.

this is a photoshop or a future chinese model with NRD (near reality design), it's very chinese style to put touch screen and hardkeys together on their models

interesting. Keypad layout allows less rows of keys making more room for screen... china has some very unique requirements as there "alphabet" is so large. I imagine it would take quite a while before one became proficient at SMS via predictive text.

I hate the way they put the *, 0, # to the right hand side, really need to take a while to adapt this approach.
Once you get used to it, you'll find yourself hard to change the way you use.
