just a query: My phone has been jailbroken via jailbreakme and if i do decide to download this new update does this mean that my phone will be restored in its original ios and then it is not jailbroken anymore? Any help? thanks

Oh apple. If only you wud listen to those tech guys and their suggestions then you wouldn't be having trouble releasing all of these lame updates to firmware just to prevent from having ur idevices from being jailbroken. But you cant help it can u? U just need to control everything.

Naff 89, 12 Aug 2010Now its your own fault for buying a hopeless piece of CRAP!... moreto be fair, the phone was fine and i had no issues at all untill the new software, and thats made it impossible to use. i dont think its unreasonable for a paying customer to expect a product to actualy work to its full potential and do the things the company says it can, especialy when something released to improve the phone has actualy just ruined it. apple take no responsibility, that and their arrogance is what has ruined their reputation in my eyes and im sure has alienated hundereds of customers

Face it - Apple are giving the people what they want. They make products and open Apple Stores. The people flock to them and spend their money on them. Whether you like it or not.
And we know Apple products aren't cheap.
Don't hate cos there is nothing you can do about it. Apple is a much more powerful corporation than you have the ability to understand.

Relevant comments help instead of trolling for problems. Id love to see more comments like: this works, this causes problem x, y, z. Dont upgrade yet etc. Instead everyone says first or moans about a phone they dont like. Grow up, some of us use this for business and need relevant opinions on the topic.

You'd see if you were a Mac user. Flash on a Mac is really terrible in performance and in 10 years Adobe haven't done much to improve the performance of Flash on Mac's.
The next Flash update for Mac's will have hardware assisted performance on newer Mac's though.
It was because of the poor performance of Flash on Mac's (and the slightly poor performance of Flash on phone's) that Steve Jobs decided not to have Flash on the iPhone.
