YouTube Smart Offline lets viewers in India download videos overnight to save data costs

YouTube Red already offers offline viewing of YouTube videos but it is more of a necessity in developing countries as data is a costlier operation. Smart Offline will let users queue videos to be scheduled to download overnight, when data costs are off-peak for many Indian mobile providers.

Do note that Telenor also operates in Malaysia (as Digi), India, Thailand (as dtac), Bangladesh (as Grameenphone), and a few other countries.

      and Airtel(service provider) is giving back the 50% of the data used in night time.

            I don't get why this only in India. There are a lot of countries Like Australia where mobile data is really costly.
