          Nice. This is something that we all miss from past - different designs. I am pretty bored with today smartphone designs, all look the same.

Its just that old junk got probably about same thickness, and when it comes to thickness everything is gone thin(like phones) because thin is better-looking, lighter and more pocketable. Displays-samoleds are also thinner than lcds, paper-thin so it can be made. Well, I do not expect much anyway, even main line is not changing, cannot expect better from some side project.

                    Great stuff but why big screen on outside? You have minimalist screen on outside giving basic info like good old days. With this you open up from a big screen to a big screen so may as well stay on outside screen making this another slab or product that is wrong.

                    When you receive a letter all the contents are on inside with all needed info on envelope. If all the contents of the envelope were on outside why would you need to open envelope ?

                      I love clamshell phones. For me they look more sophisticated than big bulky phab phones. I rememver the old days, im totally in love with flip phones. Sadly the new phones are not available worldwide.

                                      I'd love a clamshell. But probably only as a secondary phone. I remember how awesome it was to own a razr back in the day.

                                        I - as not a particular fan of Samsung personally - am glad they are doing this. I think if this is done right it could be a great idea. It needs more but it's being kept going and improving and that's what's required.
                                        IMO to succeed it needs;
                                        To be thin but still retain battery. Total when folded under 10mm (not going to happen yet but eventually).
                                        The option of a qwerty keyboard. Standard keypad is all well and good but so many people want a qwerty keyboard still. Why not aim for the BB loyalists?
                                        Samsung make the most of AMOLED tech and they need to keep going with it and maybe even bring in a size option but not above 4.7".
                                        Just my thoughts on this.
