Since there's no Ultra Blu-ray drive the only way it could display 4k video is through streaming content.

This is great. Smaller and a built in power brick. That alone as a Microsoft fan is just a blessing. HDR means High Dynamic Range so games could produce more vibrant colors in a bigger color range then normal. Great for HDR ready movies and games
