Dual heatpipes, 14 Jun 2016You are talking about the cheaper LCD screen, I know the ch... moreNo. You are both wrong.
Even the highest quality of LCD tend to have blueishbor yellowish displays and offset colors.

Its called calibration. Almsot all displays are calibrated to have a high "blue" white point. And sometimes a more lower "yellow" white point. And usually exaggerated colors.
Most are not fine tuned for accuracy.

And its the same with Oled. Just some panels of both types, especially and most pertaining to smasunga flagship oleds, are calibrated for accuracy

                          http://s31.postimg.org/ykgsssmcr/ORG_DSC08462_01.jpg
hopee this link is allowed here.... it's a 5 months old Galaxy s6 Active, nothing special done with it. Just download a display tester app and look at the status bar on your own. Usualy you can see it in Blue and Green colors, or even in white and Grey. Red seems to be not affected.
When I asked my friends with samsung amoled phones to check theirs, most of them would report a similar difference in brightness.

I have to admit, in normal use you don't see it because there is the status bar anyways, I can spot it when looking at full screen mode images or in certain fullscreen apps. And its not a samsung but an amoled prolem since my nexus 6p had the same issue (and so had my old samsung amoled phones I used (from galaxy s1 over galaxy note one to galaxy s2 and galaxy s5).
So like you see I kinda like Samsung phones because I purchased a couple of them but still I (and i bet you too) can see the problems of the amoled technology and it's better then it was with my galaxy s1 but its still real.

Ok there is something wrong here ! This artikle praise Samsung for delivering 94% or 80 something million OLED displays and in the same artikle they get praised for upgrading "ONE" of their factories so it can deliver 105k displays a month instead of the 15k it normally could. So when the year is gone and that special one factory have produced 1.25 million displays where do they then get the other 79 million displays from? I mean either they need like 65 super factories or 5266 of the older factories more just to hit what they did before this big demand from Apple on OLED screens. The math dont add up 😜
