Anonymous, 21 Jun 2016its IPx7 rated. So its as waterproof as any phone out there... moreI have had my iWatch the day it came out I have so far gone swimming above 1 meter, I shower with it all the time(i change my songs in the shower), been in a major rain storm, taken my kids on waterslides, work out with it all the time and have gone kayaking ! it is waterproof but you need to still be cautious, the ratings allow UP TO 1 meter submerged. the downfall is while the watch is wet it's kinda difficult to use as the touch sensors don't recognize where you are touching, but just make sure there is not a lot of water on the screen when you use it. its personally your choice friends of mine have the watch and didn't believe me until they saw it with their own eyes and now they trust me. It's 100% your choice clearly. You spent your hard earned money on this toy so choose how you want to use it. all I am saying is your safe to have your watch in a bit of water !... enjoy it how you want ... I LOVE MINE !!!

[deleted post]I seen what you wrote. That you cannot use the Watch as a fitness devices due to it not being waterproof? You are wrong, whilst Apple did not want to give it an official waterproof badge, it is absolutely waterproof. take it in the shower with you if you like, no worries. But I have noticed you come and write hate on all Apple articles. Bottom line is that the Apple Watch is the best smart watch out there, you can talk about its flaws, but its still better than the rest.

Dr Danger, 15 Jun 2016you write what every sheepie write and alligate other users... moreso why do u write comments on articles unrelated to you? unless ur interested in an apple product then its fine but u just come on apple forums to troll.
tell me sumthing, wen a person buys an apple device, does it reduce ur oxygen supply? does the money come out of ur pocket?
so why do u care if people buy apple products? why waste ur time? its exactly why it makes u a troll

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2016dr danger found an apple article to write his hate! these ... moreyou write what every sheepie write and alligate other users because iusers never want to come out of apple grand illusion ..
the truth is when an iuser face the reality of the apple product then they try to protect themselves by defending their decision and targetting other os users by saying terms like '' childish'' etc.. and same you are also doing that..
actually you also know apple products are dumb but you always try to protect yourself..
and iusers are famous for worshipping apple demi god not other os users

they cant accept if people like products from a rival company which is petty to the max!
these fandroids have no life. all they do when they wake up and before they goto sleep is search the web for apple articles and crap out their hate. i bet they keep a statue of the android logo in their bedrooms and they worship this statue like its a god

Well it'll be a cold day in hell when I have to read something to know if some gadget is useless or not. For me, it's very useful, try getting a job and attending meetings and you'll see how useful it can be to glance at your watch to know immediately what you just received on your phone.

I've had my watch for over a year now and it's gotten better with every update so far. Yeah the apps are still painfully slow to load even today, but that's not what I use my watch for. I use it for fitness and notifications, that's it. watchOS 3 is a very welcome update though and I can't wait for it.

Apple is looking solid moving into 2017.

Apple Watch is now perfect thanks to Watch OS 3. Finally completely worthy of its spot at the top of the smart watch food chain. Apple Watch 2 (in the words of the late and great Steve Jobs) will blow your mind. And will most likely have built in GPS to further take advantage of the SOS feature. Plain give away by Apple there, so rumor definitely confirmed if you ask me.Thanks Apple for consistently making the Watch better and better with each successive update :) can't wait to get my watch 2 next year hehee
