Apple announced iOS 10 with 10 major new features

at first when i went through the new features, i was not much impressed...i mean these things have been on android for a long time, and frankly speaking we android users have been taking them for granted
true, that iphone can have any feature, supposing that you jailbreak it, its no match to the level of customization available on droids...
now lets look at the update..
lock screen- which kind do you want? always on display? tap to wake? pick up to wake?
camera from lock screen-got it
3d touch-sounds cool, and i heard the learning curve is good, but lets face it we got 3 buttons
lets not go to the notification and toggle area shall we..
now i have tried both siri and google now...sadly siri couldn't undestand my thick indian accent...so i haven't fiddled around too much
photos-google photos; yuck..thats the work. but boy do we have awesome gallery apps from sony, asus and such
music-people go for different stuff with droids..we also download mp3 from youtube and sideload them(coughs..)
i don't have a connected home so not home apps...
split view in mail...hmm..yeah we got that..hell we got split view in our file explorer
calling and messaging...its a phone so there's not much comparison..the new msg app looks good though. but seriously speaking, whatsapp??
in the end i will look like a fan boy...
what i am saying is, android is(or was, can't really put my finger on it) opensource, not like apple with their prison like OS.
despite all this people like apple, there must be some hint of usefullness in it
its nice that apple is considering what people want and taking steps towards that...and andoid fans should probably hold off on their criticism about what they(apple) are doing(hey we don't get ALL the features in a single android phone anyway)
off topic.. i really hoped they would bring a homescreen this time around

Facebook should sue Apple for jacking all those features from Messenger. Just for sh*ts and giggles :P

No android device can ever match the apple experience and the perfect software-hardware match, to name a few among scores of things in which Apple is better
And if u r such fandroids then why u even here, that just shows how worried u r that Apple is getting further ahead
No matter what u think Apple is still the best

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2016Yes thats changed now. you are given an option to add sever... moreYes in initial account creation... but when you come to downloading something it pops up asking again. The only option is to add details and then remove them... but as we know nothing can be deleted on internet.. once you added your bank details apple will have them forever. getting my iphone 6s to check that... I am pretty sure I cannot download apps on it and it keeps poping-up with message that "error occurred, please check details".. last time I added my corporate credit card to get this message off..Maybe it is country specific?

Android is no doubt the most used OS in the world thanks to its open platform that a lot of OEMs adapt it, it has a lot of features both useful and redundant...
Apple on the other hand carefully handpick some of those useful features already available on Android and even from Windows and enhances them and create an amazing user experience

People think that Android copies apple, but here as you can see that apple is coping several features of android. Android is farrrrrr better than ios, i dont understand why people just love apple so much like its their religion and thesse people are called iSheep people,.... WAKE UP!!! I guess you can skip that step at initial account creation, but later it haunts you, when you try to download anything even free apps or updates.
