LG G Watch and Moto 360 will not get Android Wear 2.0 update

According to both LG and Motorola’s Twitter support, The Android Wear 2.0 update is not going to arrive on either the original LG G Watch or the flat-tired Moto 360. These two interactions on Twitter happened on two separate occasions a couple of weeks or so apart.

The LG G Watch has no buttons and the Moto 360 has a CPU from 2011 so it makes sense

        Anonymous, 14 Jun 2016i am not buying android wear ever again. Android wear does not satisfy any specific requirements which other devices cannot help.
        Most of the required function are available in good fitness band like Microsoft band2.

          Anonymous, 14 Jun 2016It's the hardware if you don't understand Is it that hard... moreBy the time that Motorola choosed the tiomap chip for the watch, Texas instruments was already dead in that department and clear on not making any further support for drivers for any of their old chips.
          That chip was chosen because Motorola had a ton of them in stock and so they could save costs.
          In this case, there its really only to blame on Motorola or Google, "but it's because of the chipset" doesn't count at all. Because they knew exactly what they put in there and that they won't get any Texas instruments support

            LG is very bad, the G Watch won´t be updated, but the G Wath R will be, this is sad, because both watches have the same hardware. The Most watches with Android Wear, have the same hardware with Snapdragon 400. I think the only one that don´t have this, is the Moto 360 1st gen.

                    Simple
                    It cannot be updated or your device won't fucntion properly plus it lacks pretty much nee hardware features what's your point?

                      The LG W100 is the original square watch, and not the G Watch R

                        Gsmarena the picture is of LG G watch r(w110) not the original G watch(w100)
