Analysts: Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on track to sell 25M units

    Samsung/ android sales forced apple into, bigger screens, true multi tasking, higher resolution, more camera pixels, video calling, more bluetooth freedoms, on and on and on. Next thing, ther'll be amoled screen(very embarrassing climbdown, wonder if that idiot will invent another frase like doubledown, to avoid saying double up meaning he's only being giving 50%.) and funny if they now say you can install the bloatware that has never even been admitted to yet, and call it a new feature, because Samsung under years of their barrage of media Pr insults have slimmed down touchwizz. No, it would only take, say, a Samsung phone to be more highly rated in some area by the Americans and..Oh wait..the Note 5.Na apple have problems..I mean you are hear on a Samsung thread, where the interest is...trying to make apple look good here aren't you..because its critical...or, don't come back..no more name changes, multiple ip's, collegues..I mean its not as tho Samsungs a threat now is it. Is it ?

      They were number one in US for ONE MONTH, they did exactly same with S6,

      That news and this post doesnt show it anyway that S7 selling better than 6s. But the fact Apple sold last q over 50 million iPhones (most of them are 6s) tells it all. S7 doesnt get even close to iPhone 6s sales.

        For those who keep arguing about numbers, it says the sells for the first quarter of the year is 15mil and Q2(plus the 15mil) is 25mil combined. Yes, S3 get 60mil in a year. This number of sells for S7 is not even for a year yet. It just released last March people! March to June is only 4 months and they already get 25mil! If they can get 25mil every 4 months that would amount to 100mil in a year.

I remember ... moreTruth be told i dont think the S7 will sell as much as the S6 even though they say its doing good so far... both apple and samsung tried something new last year with the iphone 6 and S6 and they were well received... But the number of people who would upgrade from iphone 6 to 6s and S6 to S7 are far too less. Its not practical, irrelevant of being able to afford it or not.

That along with this post makes it obvious doesn't it?? Also, i've got a friend of mine working in Optus here in Australia and from what he has seen, S7 or edge orders topped iphone 6s orders after S7 launch and still is the same it seems.... care to state your facts??

                The 6s sales is disappointing compared to 6, but to be fair, the 6s wasn't much different to the 6 and it was predicted. Infact i thought the S7 wouldn't do well despite the fact that it has significant improvements then the S6 to say the least, but its always good to know that the phone you use as a daily driver is popular :D

                  Are the milestones getting lower or what ?? I remember that Samsung sold 20M units of the galaxy S4 stock versions in 68 days only !! not including the active or international versions.. now both S7 flagships sales combined are yet to reach 25m .. considering the increased share in China and Europe markets !!!!!!!!!

                  However it might make sense right now because the competition got bigger since that time especially in china .. and the current flagships didn't offer all of what fans demanded, for me the 4:3 res-ratio of the 12mp cam was a letdown , also the 12mp itself can't compete with the LG G5 front cams (this is negligible for me compared to the 1st one) , also the device as some reports claimed is hard to repair, which means it would cost you a lot more to repair it

So you should take a grain of salt for whatever they are saying as it's pure bias. Of course, Sales of iphones will always be in higher numbers than galaxy s and note in any given month or quarters. But in terms of android, 15 millions flagship sales for galaxy s series in a quarter (after its initial release period) is a very very impressive achievement. None of lg g, htc 10, sony z series achieved that total in one year.

                                  ifans have this weird (at least for me) thing about not considering anything other than an iphone. when i ask why, they say just coz. they know that iphones are overpriced, overrated, and technologically inferior to a myriad of android phones but they can't seem to admit it openly.

Apple can charge flagship price because their fans will only buy iphones, no matter how overpriced and technologically limited it is. Something like a zuk z2 is much better deal tham an iphone.

                                        Just think how the Galaxy S6 models from Samsung would have been equal as popular if Samsung would have offered the micro sd card slot on these models,but Samsung did the same stupid mistake by copying Apple iphones,just wish Samsung should think about there own phones instead of thinking what Apple as to offer,as the court cases with Apple as cost Samsung a lot of money,Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a super phone and with the Note 6 or 7 on the way,more pressure is being put on Apple an will they be able to with stand this pressure or not?
