Anonymous, 14 Jun 2016you got it all wrong, first month they sold 10 million and ... moreThat is not correct. Obviously for the launch they had pre-orders from network providers etc. So that is why 10 millions on the first month. Then 5 millions each month sounds like stable sales. Obviously, iphone and Note launch going to impact sales in a way, but frankly the ones who were waiting for iphone or note won't buy s7 anyway, unless they found s7 being better than iphone 7 (which is fact) or cheaper then newly released Note 7(or 6). So based on these estimates sale figure still going to be good. 25 so far + 5 for next 3 month and then maybe 2 millions each month after that on average ~50+ millions for a single model of device is great figure.

Looks like S7 sales are falling fast. In first month they sold 10 million and now in three months only 15 million. Doesn't look good for Samsung and iPhone 7 is behind the corner.

Been using the s3 for almost 4 years now and wanted to continue with Samsung but the non replacable battery, the regional locking, lack of IR the late software updates and the bloatware made me shy away from Samsung and look elseware , probably the LG G5.
I seems to me Samsung attitude became too arrogant , they see themselves as the "apple" of android world and think that with enough advertisement they can feed anything to their fanboys.
When they start respecting their customers and stop with the regional locking, bloatware and give faster updates I will consider jumping back on the their train.

insanejojo, 14 Jun 2016samsung will never reach the record they made with the gala... moreBack in the day s3 was the only flagship.. Note series were just spun-off. So this is not exactly the same. Now Flagship segment is devices into S7/edge/Note and at low end and developing countries by C and A series. Back in S3 days you either buy flagship or you go home. As well back in the day there were less pressure from chinese and indian local manufacturers, so big players were only ones offering flagships. Finally, flagships were priced at lower price point.. Nowadays A/C series comes in price point of S3, and S7 or last year S6 is really in the league of their own, with kind of "premium" segment.

25 million is roughly twice that of iPhones weekend sales ;-)
