Bruhdude, 16 Jun 2016But bro ive been to hongkong and hongkong has the most mill... moreI agree that somehow this is an exaggeration, but you cant say you know China if you have only been to HK. HK is so damn small compared to China. Eventhough HK seems to be under China. Everything is different. Different customs, different regulation etc etc. SInce HK is special region. So, no you cant say HK market as representative of China market.

But bro ive been to hongkong and hongkong has the most millionairs per every thousand people and all they buy are named expensive brands to showoff like lg, samsung, and apple especially apple so they must not have got all of there sales from china. i live in indonesia and every 2/10 people own a oppo smartphone because oppo advertises in indo a lot and is smart in sinapore they also advertise and in so many countries unless your white or in a richer country than you will see oppo phones but mostly asian people use it because oppo is amed to asian people because of the price tag and quality compared to the price they went along way for making blu-ray players so dont be a hater

7 million seems very possible. Let's say that 7mil is in China itself, that would be just a little above 0.5% of China's population.
Modern & rich cities's total population like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, & Shenzhen is ~40mil, which in turn is 7mil/~40mil =~ 17%.
But of course they do sell it outside of China too, so they probably mix the number of F1+(intl.) and R9(China).
Like my uncle said, "even if you can capture 0.1% of China's market, you're a millionaire. If you can get 1%, you're already a billionaire"... but oh well....

Coming from a chinese OEM? I have doubts. Xiaomi claimed the same thing over and over again and look at where they at now. Such liars.

But well done, it's time we had a challenger who can give us more for less! Time to smash the Apple and Samsung duopoly.

Ya right, I bet 50% of that sales figures are covered by the dealers themselves. Not the 1st time they did something like this.

Isn't this the phone with bad 16mp front camera I have read about. Or was it the other chinese phone? I forgot. Too many similar phone.

I think OPPO's prices a too high for what one gets. They have nice designs though.
