Always wonder why can't the almighty brand simply lower the prices of old models (like 5230/5800) and give those additional features "free" to customers, rather than always TRY to make a SO CALLED NEW MODEL with minimal differences from the previous ones.
Additional tooling, molding, printing, packaging, instruction not only cost more to the company (and eventually to the consumers), what about the unsold units of the previous models? I heard somewhere in order for the company to "sustain" the prices of the (so called) new models, some unsold units would be sent to the landfills directly.
We simply don't need a company making trash products trashing more trash to our beloved planet.

Everyone's been wondering why Nokia hasn't adopted super AMOLED, fast processors or making an ALL IN ONE device, say has all the nice features: Android/Symbian 4/meego (or some other stable OS'es, 12.1 Mpix cam, HD video rec, huge memory, 3G, WIFI...etc..etc... cuz, if they do make a device like that, people wont buy any other phone produced by them anymore, and ok, they might give that "Perfect" device a new design over time, but most probably people will go about saying: "ahhh...its the same stuff...BORING!" "Uh...nothing new, same old specs.." i bet nokia's taking it slow at the moment...lol

NOKIA!! how about some S40 full touch phone?? cmon what's up with the X3-02? i know you can make an S40 full touch..
ordinary people like us just needs a feature phone with full touch capabilities so S40 OS will do the trick..

[deleted post]I cannot agree any further that this is just a waste of everyone's time...the fact that the nokia cannot afford to lose out in market share and is preparing to make up by this low cost unit to appeal to larger mass; wake up! It's an App world today! Go work on OS...
