1) Last time I checked, console games aren't free either -- not even cheaper than the PC versions for that matter.
2) The cost to get PC hardware that replicates the user experience these power-limited consoles have (yes, I'm talking of PS4/XBOne) is actually CHEAPER than buying the console -- plus, it does so much more than just play games and watch movies/TV!
Bottom line: You don't need the latest and grandest, if you consider buying a console then it's actually quite cheap to appease you in the PC world.

In those days, the online experience was much, much better on Xbox than PS. Now that online experiences on each platform kind of evened out, Microsoft announced their machine earlier and weaker than PS, they are losing the battle.
Another big point is exclusive title. Microsoft milked the s* out of Halo but kind of feel like that was all they had. Sony has way more exclusive titles with sizable fanbase whereas I can probably count Xbox exclusives on both hands if not one.

Xbox isn't as widely available as PS4 is And Playstation was the first ever on the market. It has a larger fan base compared to Xbox but with the kind of effort MS is putting on Xbox Its safe to say that Sony would eventually have a run for there money in that respect.

I think Microsoft have themselves to blame for people giving them a hard time. From 2013 till now they have attempted to, modify, take things away (for better performance), do price cuts like crazy. They have nearly 30 bundles, and still nothing seems to be working. I mean people who want an Xbox will get one, but most people get PS4 because it's more streamlined and simple, without all the hassle of being a super multimedia device, and worrying about how games will perform. (For the most part, better on PS4). And a lot of people simply don't want an Xbox One because it's so hated. It's like having a BF or GF, that no one likes. So you end up dumping them, or vice versa. Now these consoles are MS's way of saying, oops this will help sales, or having a more powerful console will make us the best. Just way to much competition, that's why I stick with Sony. They have very little to say, and don't need to. MS have big mouths and are always bragging or running them. I like the Silent Sony. ;p) 360 was MS's high point, and it always will BE. They'll never out do it. So stick to PC's and software MS. Please. ;p)

That's not including games. With games it will cost you a lot in the long run. You can get games much cheaper for PC. Also on pc you can not only play games, but do many other useful stuff. Also, when talking about games, PC has lots of free and good ones. Please stop dragging PC community down with your sh*tty consoles. Because of you we have to suffer from poor ports, that make consoles look good, when they are not, they are weak. You can easily get a good gaming PC for 800$ and everything in the long run will be much cheaper than console bullsh*t. Also on consoles you have to pay if you want to play online. I could talk and talk about this, but I hope that you already understand what I want to say.

Can anyone comfirm this as far as i know from now on the XBox "exclusive games" will also be available for PC (Windows 10), if that true then why anyone would buy XBox?

AnonD-533451, 20 Jun 2016I think xbox is one of the most hated consoles, and shouldn... morethe ps3 does have its perks..but thats more due to its APU rather than GPU, which at its best it about the dsame power as a gtx 660..(or equivalent)..with the 980, titan and the new nvidia and amd cards, ps3 and even the current ps4 and xbox one are no match...
in its defense some eccentric professor decided to use 13(or was it 21??) ps3 systems to emulate how 2 black holes will collide(source..T3)
personally i got the ps3 for uncharted and god of war...i got my pc for the multiplat games

because here in my country PS4 cost like about 20 thousand for 1 TB convert it to dollar it will cost $400~$450

I think xbox is one of the most hated consoles, and shouldn't, i always prefer pc and think that both (xbox and ps) were good until last gen, what i hate is that ps4 fanboys who can even say that ps4 is better than a pc performance, this kill my brain
