Well, I live in Brazil, everything is expensive, yes, but people buy iPhones, lots of people have them, it's not like everyone is so poor that they can't buy shit!
And people use dual-SIM phones because almost everyone uses pre-paid lines, and it's cheaper calling the same carrier, one offers WhatsApp and Facebook for free on their network and has good 4G, the other one offers unlimited calls, SMS and 100MB for R$2/day.
