Sure, but limiting its LTE-bands is IMHO over the top. Otherwise I would have tried one myself. I thought these Qualcomm modems were world-standard, alas.

all suparphones's speakers and microphones can do ultrasound enabling them to be a compact RADAR or 3D motion sensor and object scanner with just a software update. .I know how 2 do it, in-fact I do it all the time

I only have two serious grudges about Xiaomi - Number one is of course their flash sales, blink and its out of stock. And 2 - which I guess a lot will disagree is their over agressive power saving and thus disabling data on mail apps too often....

At least the size of the screen should be increased to 5.5" without it the Mi 5s will not be worthy for a buy.

All the variants of Mi5 are still not available. What's the point if you can't bring it to the market in time and make it available freely. Now you have this. Waste of time.

[deleted post]Haters gonna hate. My Mi 3 has served me well since day 1, surviving the drops that I've put it through without serious damage; my mum's Redmi Note 3G and Mi 4i have pretty much gone through hell and still work just fine; my Mi 5 Pro feels and looks amazing. Not going to damage it anytime soon, but I doubt I'll ever make it bend.

Some complain about the phone being "too fragile", but does anybody ever take out the phone they use and start applying pressure on it with the intention to make it bend? Such levels of pressure are -highly- unlikely to occur during normal usage.

We've got to realise that when you purchase a $300-500 smartphone, you'll have to accept some compromises. You pay for what you get, and while Xiaomi's phones aren't perfect, it's hard to deny the value you get with each purchase.

So many phones are coming out of the woodwork, this is insane! Companies gotta chill and release fewer phones and streamline their product lineup.

Pressure sensitive display are crapple gimmick rubbish. Long press ftw.

I am not sure where all the build quality comments are coming from, my Xiaomi Note 3 Pro is rock solid and is performing amazingly for the price I paid. A lot of people I know are buying the same after seeing mine and all are amazed how good they are.
