First off, let me congratulate Oneplus for the care with which they build they're phones. They are always great value for money.
Some people just don't get that whey you buy a Oneplus, you don't buy the best phone there is. You buy what is most probably the best phone at that price, and a phone that gives almost, and sometimes better performance the the best phones at some things. They're aim is best value for money. Nobody can make a buck making the best phone in the world and then charging almost half than it's competitors.
All of that said, why on earth have they opted for a AMOLED screen is beyond my comprehension.

what do they mean "don't settle"??!!
why should anyone settle for after-purchase OTA updates to resolve basic issues that should be taken for granted straight out of the box

They both look equally crappy, unnatural and oversaturated, should've stuck with IPS LCD and went with a bigger battery instead of tuning and tweaking.

the screen with sRGB settings definitely looks better than the default tuned one.

So the update game begins with 1plus.... They will bug fix until the next android version and will start all over again......

Can sRGB mode be available for OP2? BTW, Anandtech rocks! Can we ever have a review like that in GSMARENA?

Some people actually do like the vibrancy and since there is no objective answer to which looks better, no need to get your knickers in a tangle over which one is better( in your humble opinion). Take a straw poll on a general forum to see this for yourself.

And if I was 'trying to look smart' I would have started commenting about blues and yellows while shoving my own opinions as facts. By the way, I actually like OnePlus 3 :)

Won't fix the shitty b-tier pentile display.
Won't fix the useless 400 nits max.
Won't fix the useless 3000 mAh battery.
Nope, it will stay in the trash.

They (like all the others) will never learn it.
By now it is impossible for me to consider anything but a Nexus.
Google knows software, Samsung/Sony/OnePlus/Lenovo/etc just don't.
At the end of the day it is as simple as that.

This is one of better companies emerging out of China. One Plus is right on track with the OnePlus 3. CEO of this company just provided the users what they wanted and yet some are not satisfied. Please appreciate this company's work. Solid phone for the price. Just checked the scratch and bend test of this phone on GSMArena and it's awesome. Hardware & software of this phone are top notch, all nicely implemented features. Wish I had the money to buy this masterpiece. (:

Gsmarena could have typo-ed with 'sRGB on the right ; default color mode on the left' and people would have still praised the 'new' sRGB mode with being more vibrant and natural than the default.

Would be outright hilarious if they did indeed mix left and right up.

divis200, 23 Jun 2016sRGB looks better than original. Also, about the ram manage... morei'd agree with both. i also think the sRGB mode looks better, more natural while their default colors look oversaturated to me. and letting the user decide about the number of apps kept in RAM is something i thought as well. could also put it in dev settings so users who don't know what they're doing are less likely to mess it up
