These phones especially n93 and n73 look really great, n93 though looks like its going to be a little to expensive. Does anyone know how much the n73 will go for?

The design of N93 is excellent as well as the 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics with an astonishing 3x optical zoom... But N93 will be huge and I am afraid about the vibration system. And let’s not talk about its prize :-)
This is what makes a customer look elsewhere for a Samsung or a Motorola mobile phone
The N-93 would be the best if the vibration system was better

      Dreadnought
It is more or less a fact that N-series is beset with problems.
Whether its pictures taken or music or sluggish operation.
What I reiterate is Nokia is too ambitious to unleash phones
too soon without correcting problems. For example Nokia announced N-93 in July when few know when N-92 us going to be released.
My observation tells me that whenever a high end model is troubled with problems Nokia quietly brings another version less
a feature. I guess N-93 does not seem to have DVB-H. Further Camera in N-series is not improved even with Carl-Zeiss lens.
I admire Nokia's audacity. The customer get frustrated with delay in launch and when phone is bought at a high price the customer
finds the phone is halfbaked and with bugs. This is what makes a customer look elsewhere. He is at his wits end is willing to sacrifice few features like EDGE&3G together and seek either a SE or a Samsung or a Motorola

These are like assembled computers made of good components outsoursed from other manufacturers with a genuin operating systems.
Great features but expensive due to those outsoursed technologies.
            Needs some seroius diating.

Yes, it is unfortunately true that when released, the high-end smartphones often have several bugs which can be annoying. Luckily firmware updates fix the most of the bugs.
I myself think that it´s a good thing to have a all in one phone, I mean, you don´t have to use two or more phones to get various tasks finished. But if there is a lot features, then there also is a lot of bugs, especially if we are talking about a phone using a advanced OS - like the N-series. We can just hoped that Nokia has learned from it´s mistakes and are working hard to make Symbian a more stable solution.
In this way, I think it´s very unfair to compare the SE K- or W-series with the N-series, in matters of OS stability, because the SE models have a lot fewer features and a standard non-smartphone OS when compared to the Symbian-based smartphones.
The size is an other factor, the size/weight is though only a real issue in the N93 as the N73 and N72 are somewhat average weighted. But if you want everything from your phone, because the N93 has got almost everything, then the size should definately not be the factor you are considering as the most important.
And you can´t really say that the N93 is too big, because it still easily fits into a jeans-pocket.

                I agree with Tarantula.
SE takes measured and sure steps. SE does believe in "Jack of all and Master of None". As Tarantula said SE targets phones for specfic audience. In K790 they has sort overlapped good music, excellent camera with EDGE. Further 3G (UMTS) is not available across all countries. 3G consumes higher bandwidth which is a precious commodity in many countries. Therefore in the current scenario SE is doing the best. I can only say Nokia gets a bit ambitious in putting all in one. Many here will know that N-series
is generally beset with problems. Even version 3 Symbian S60 is unstable. Is it that Nokia hardware is incompatible with S60 due to cluttering of phones with all the features that makes the phone get sluggish.

6630 is only superior to SE P910 in resolution camera and WCDMA, the rest, like aplications and OS P910 is superior to 6630. You cant compare UiQ with S60 because always loose S60. QWERTY, RIM, touchscreen, you cant compare the poorer 6630 with P910.
SE no need to produce a mass Symbian UiQ smartphones because UiQ is only for selected audience and market, since with phones like K750i have almost the same photo quality than more bulky, heavier, slow and expensive plastic Carl Zeiss S60 smartphone N90.
SE no need to produce a mass smartphones like nokia and put into them all posible tech, and SE look specialized market segment, like cyber-shot, walkman and the future (supossed) handycam, while in enterprise is P series. No need to make all smartphones because no everyone need a smartphone and people want certain characteristics in phones. Is a mistake say nokia is innovated manufacturer only by the fact that put all tech in a smartphone, but quality features of the phone is only average (like camera, music, etc)

i wonder how people get so insincere comparing nokia to se. now the new n series are anounced and all se fans have started growing angry saying all kind of rubish. will they (se) tells us why up to date they can't produce utms smart phone with uiq? something nokis did since 2004. will they tells us what's keeping p990i since last year? and when it will finally come out it won't still have edge, it will still be with a 2mega pixel when nokia will be doing 3.2 on smart phones with series 60.all se's 3.2 mega pixel phones are non-smart phones with closed-end applications yet every insincere se fans is shouting blindly about them. mokia is still 2 years ahead of se. look back to the years.... what new innovation has sony+ericsson brought to the mobile industry. nothing! but nokia is synonimous with innovations. they (nokia) have revolutionise the mobile industry twice. and that's just as much the mobile industry has changed. nokia will still set the pace to the future. now to all se fans, remember... the best se phone still available in the market for you guys is the p910i, a device that the nokia 6630 is far superior to.

At the moment, I am running tests on the N73. The phone alright but Nokia have put most of the faults from the N70 straight into this model so its more or less the same software wise. Most of my mates says it looks like a Sony Ericsson from behind. This s/w drop didnt have the camera at full resolution so I can't tell you how good it is.

N73 will compete with K790/800. Carl Zeiss lens is only adventising coz N90 CZ powered has almost the same results with K750i, I hope really that N73 make the diference with stunning publicity lens, and I really doubt about this. SE has the best results in photo quality and nokia will work hard to surpass SE in this aspect, Carl Zeiss is only advertising

These phones sound good, hope they live up to their promise! Especially interested to see how the new SE phone will stack up against these two, should be a lively debate for the future :-P I think they will be a little too big for some peoples liking, but at least they're giving us as much features as anyone could want.

Oh, and as for 5-7 Megapixel quality on phones... GSM phones are only just reaching 3.2MP, so how anyone can say stuff like that is beyond me... and I didn't think this was a slag-off SE forum... Thought it was for comments on the new N series... There's no pleasing some people!

To those arguing about whether SE is greater than Nokia or vice versa, I think it doesn't really make sense 2 do that! Just go 4 what suits ur person & hw u want 2 work & play!Considering cam capabilities,I can say sth about d SE K750i & d N90: I hav tried both & I think d N90 is better in low light conditions! Bye!

now i have admit, the k800 has met its match with n93
xenon flash (k800) vs. optical zoon (n93)
cybershot technology (k800) vs. carl zeiss (n93)
                                        400+ euros (k800) vs. 500+ euros (n93)
