Nokia C6-01 reveals its face to the world, confused with C6-00

30 August, 2010
We already met Nokia C6-01 stylish back, but its face and form factor were still a mystery. Well, that's no more thanks to a Bulgarian operator, which mistakenly used a Nokia C6-01 photo for its C6-00 campaign...

The reason why i liked c6 is for it's qwerty but c6-01 won't b getting one. That's not fair....

One look at the side pic shows all 3-4 keys on the bezelled surface. Now if they were trying to make something thinner, they would place tye keys on the back panel or else that pic is an exaggerated false photoshopped pic.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2010My guess is that c6-01 is with 3.2'' TFT screen, same as x6... morei am not so sure about it's other specs like ram, speed etc.. as they could be either similar to the c6-00 or better, but the screen size does seem bigger, say like 3.5". also if u check the pics in google of it's front n back compared to the c6-00, it seems wider giving it more of a probability to have a bigger screen...3.5" perhaps.

What I don't get is how the carriers get to know of mobiles that are not yet officially announced by Nokia itself? Do the phone companies inform the carriers first?

Nokia have got to Realise to attract more buyers they have got to Stop the Refurbished materials on its mobiles,as All that Plastic does is lose the True Value of the mobile,An keeps buyers away from Mobiles, the N8 is going to made in metal an the C7 looks more attractice with the Metal rim around screen,Plastic,Stratches,Marks an Breaks more easier than metal

C6-01 with QWERTY is awesome...

EdB, 31 Aug 2010I'm starting not to care. Nokia doesn't give their current ... morenokia doesn't sell fruits and if your that dumb that you can't tell the diff then something is wrong.
With iphon you can't even tell the difference......name does not matter since both look the damn same
So don't even complain about that nokia didn't do something like apple cause it's even worse what apple has done in the first place

I'm starting not to care. Nokia doesn't give their current hot phone a chance to be known before coming out with another. Look at the iPhone. Apple gives each unit the chance to grow, sell & be known. Folks get a chance to be satisfied with it for a good while.

...and what's with the confusing names? These codes are so hard to keep up with. With the iPhone, you know what model is the upgrade based simply on the name.

Why don`t they turn it out in stainless steel? Like that quality look of the E71...

What`s the point of pushing the price up with an 8 mega camera too? Unless there is the `impossible to build in` lens of a compact camera also.

I`ve got a quality compact camera with the lens to go with it (don`t we all?)

I think this is how you end up with phone design - if you constantly let `fan boys` design phones from manufacturers questioning.

Time for Nokia to stop consulting what a tiny majority of fans want and design something truly ground breaking in secret.

I get the sleek, steel E71 out and it feels great in the hand.

It`s been downhill on black (and `silvered`) cheap feeling plastic ever since, I`m afraid.
