      I would still give it a 2nd thought before buying Xiaomi. MIUI of Redmi is just incomplete:
      - lot of stuff in Chinese in the phone rom and also available apps - very irritating (even if the language is set to English)
      - VERY POOR languange support: mainly chinese and some English.
      - online support is poor
      - reflash in case bricking is REALLY-REALLY poor, on official pages only chinese rom is available
      - boot is locked
      I would NOT recommend Xiaomi for average users. It is still not user friendly!

            Xiaomi shud now focus on giving amoled screen, Good camera sensor and Android version updates on time. Dey upgrade d miui only. DATS Excellent coz miui is highly customizable. Bt still android version upgrade is mandatory
