Now that Chrome OS devices are about to get the Google Play Store preinstalled and access to millions of Android apps, the field is definitely going to get ever more interesting.

I suppose that it's meant for multimedia consumption, not for productivity, so comparing it with an ordinary Windows laptop is not fare.

        why dont android laptop, no need to rename it as chrome os,....Windows now too old and complicated

          Very nice. With the upcoming Android apps on Chrome, I see this option will make chromebook more interesting and usable than before.

          I envisioned that every laptop one day will be a convertible. Maybe mobile OS when undocked and desktop OS when docked? That will be a gadget both entertaining and productive without too much everything else lying on my desk. :D
