But will they work on fixing:
- those gigantic bezels
- subpar battery life and screen resolution
- dangerously high SAR value almost at the legal limit
- mono audio for video recording even if almost all competitors have stereo audio
- crippled Bluetooth and NFC
- crippled OS with no file manager and still dependent on iTunes
- subpar 16GB base storage.
- ugly protruding camera lens

Apple don't invent anything, they re-invent. Best analogy I heard is that they are like a really good chef; taking ingredients that already exist and putting them together in a new/better way. Doesn't mean they invent... anything.

Finally, a black iphone. You can't say other manufacturer copy this one. The other brand had always offered black smartphone. So, yeah this is not innovative but simply bringing back the old stuff. Regarding the "deep blue", very timely right after Samsung said they will offer N7 in blue. Ironic.
