when i saw the ipad and how it is difficult to hold ,i knew that i will never by a tablet pc,but when i saw the galaxy tab add i changed my mind.

I brushed off the iPad when Apple first announced it. Thinking that it is nothing more than a gimmick. Several weeks after it was launched I was in a meeting with someone using one and then it clicked. I went out and bought myself an iPad. However I never was comfortable with it. The iOS is annoying at time and share the same problem which is the lack of customisation for me. This is what I am looking for. I will get a Galaxy Tab when it launch and dump the iPad straight away...

you know, the ipad wasn't the first tablet, most of the ideas weren't exactly created by apple, you just think they are, but actually most of them were copied....
And by the way, the keyboard is swype (something before the ipad), the stand up case is old news (much much much older than the ipad, I actually had a ppc with one of those), and so on... Why do you do that? You're embarrassing yourself...

This is a complete iPad knock off. The browser, keyboard and email app look competent ripped off. Also the 30 pin dock connector and the standup case? Why does sanding humiliate itself? Make something original instead of copying apple!

If the 7 hours of video playback is any indication to the potential battery life, I'm in.
This is much more practical in comparison to the iPad.
Who the hell really wants to carry around two separate devices (tablet + phone)
With this, I can make my calls via bluetooth, jot down notes, go over various documents
and also listen to music and view videos on my spare time.

wow. just when the ipad was released, these companies has now been making tablets like crazy as hell. sure there were tablets before the ipad, but none of the other manufacturers took it seriously and didnt think of it that much until the ipad had its success.
same goes with the iphone. before the iphone existed, i remember how touchphones had stupid resistive touch technology and a not so touch friendly ui. and look what happened after the iphone. multi-touch, awesome ui, and etc.
and also the operating systems we have right now. before the mac existed the existing OS's didn't even have a user interface and had no mouse with stupid commands. and now... we even have multi-touch on laptops and such.
and i remember the android os before the iphone was released. it was originally on the form factors of blackberries. and now it's for touchphones. even though androids probably better, it still doesnt change how it got its inspiration from the iphone.

Im sorry but this is blatantly rushed. No custom UI to integrate with the larger screen? Hardware wise it wins over the only current competitor the iPad but in functionality it will lose hands down. Don't see the point of the second camera, but the front camera is exactly whats needed a HUGE plus over the iPad. Otherwise nothing interesting really...
