O2 and Vodafone to sell the iPhone 4 in Germany

3 September, 2010
T-Mobile is losing its exclusivity for the iPhone sales in Germany. As a result two more operators, O2 and Vodafone, will start selling Apple's phone. While all carriers are selling older iPhones models, the latest iPhone 4...

Me and my coworkers use it often when transferring photos to the workstation. It's a basic feature and you shouldn't need an app for that, no preinstalled app on the phone, no preinstalled program on the pc, it just works. Some low end Nokias do this seamlessly.
And paying 700 Euros for a handset with clear limitations is not very inviting.

But my point is: is this a reason that you would pay more for a phone? If so, I feel sorry for you man, honestly.

Iphone 4 has some very good features, like HD video recording which is the best quality I've seen on a phone so far, and the screen which is pretty awesome, even better than Samsung's Super Amoled (insane viewing angles, high dot pitch, but not the colors), the gyroscope, but these are pretty much all the highlights ...

Now, the price is just over the scale. Only an insane man would buy this stuff.

In my country, iPhone 4 can be buyed for 1000 euros vs. Galaxy S - 400-450 euros - both network free.

Sorry, but I value my money.

Your friends phone was probably outdated, because android is the best OS by far. Once you and other can get over the fact that you are being sold on hype by apple, you will wake up...and get on board. Try the Samsung Galaxy S...you won't be so quick to post comments like yours.

For a handset that can't even send files over bluetooth it's just too expensive. Iphone may have it's pros but I would never buy it.

I've been listening to people harping on about how great Android is, but I tried it today on a friends Desire, and my god, is it awful.

I don't know if it was an old version but it was slow, unresponsive, and inferior to the iOS in terms of useability. Even Symbian is more user friendly.

                              A complete fail.
