Google working on internet speed test built into Search

It seems Google is working on a speed test service that will be built within Google Search and can be used simply by searching for "check internet speed" or something similar.

Only problem with this is that a lot of local ISPs here in Mumbai have Google server cacheing so all Google sites: Google,Gmail, YouTube, blogspot etc work as if they're on LAN irrespective of your internet plan speed.
For example: I download stuff from my Google Drive @ about 6-10 mbps (download speed) and upload @ 20mbps however my internet plan's speed is 5mbps.
So great if Google incorporates this in their site/search engine but it may not get accurate readings to some.

Once the NBN is fully rolled out everyone in Aussie will enjoy stellar net speeds and we can have our cake and eat it too
