This phone unlock version is available at Kyoex. Pretty cool though. If you are free, google EMOPA to know more about the system. But EMOPA voice only available in Japanese.

The notification LED system (which is the best designed as of late imo, especially since SONY dropped their "ambiance light") from Sharp is not called Emopa, it's probably better called the "Emotion Light". Emopa refers to an artificial intelligence virtual assistant type thing that is in Sharp phone software.

They make all the best for themself, and the rest of the world get the made in..... version.
Anyway, if you want to buy any Japanese phone, you can visit kyoex. :)

There are all come from the same source, China. China is the source of factories, not an inventor or even the designer, I am sure the Sharp mini Aqua also come from China or any the low cost country, iphone & samsung also come from China factories. We all use the products making from the low cost country, exclude the most important works piece in camera is the Sensor, it will provide over from Japan.

Looks like an interesting phone, but what radio bands does it support? There's not point buying a phone you don't even know if it will work (or work well) on your network.
It's too bad Sony has abandoned the compact version of its flagship Xperia phones. They were the only company making high end compact Android phones that supported North American networks.
Unfortunately, if you want a small phone, the only good choice now is the iPhone SE. It supports all North American bands and even things like T-Mobile's wifi calling.
