People keep asking why is it not Nutella. Well, that because Nutella is not a freaking dessert. IT IS A SPREAD! You can't eat nutella spread just like that unlike nougat. That's why Nougat is a dessert. If you don't know what a nougat is it is a chewy bar(made from honey, chocolate and egg whites) that usually have nuts in it. Torrone or turron is one of it. Another more familiar example is the Cloud9 chocolate bar. That what a nougat is!

for all those that say they have never tried a nougat. ever had a baby ruth bar, or a mars bar? even the cadbury fruit and nut chocolate bar is technically a nougat.

A country that used to be a lot more strict about mobile phones shouldn't be the centerpiece of naming an Android OS iteration. Nobody wants to associate Android with ugly dessert names.

Nougat is the American name, but in other countries, it has different names and ingredients..
I'm from Təbriz and it is called Nougha and Louka in here.
