Looks my small remaining hope for stereo front speakers is completely demolished now.

As a L950 owner I'll chime in and say iris scanning is secure and has a good unlock success rate, but it's like taking a selfie every time and a just a hassle. You can't glance at it from an angle and unlock. I think I would much prefer fingerprint, if anything.

If the note 7 will have an edge display then will there be a point with the S-Edge series anymore then?

2 things. I'm hesitant on jumping on the very 1st iteration of something this groundbreaking. 2nd, I'm hesitant to the tech because I don't a criminal to need my eyes to get access to my phone.

But it woud find smart people the best technology on a smart phone for years go come... And maybe it will able to calculate how much money some people have lost from changing the charging connector for the third time... Or maybe if the plug terminal break for any reason it would find wireless charging.... Got it. Peace

Dual sim is what without which I'll not consider a phone. Further dual active 4g is preferred.

It is as well obvious that 2 cut-outs on the right are bigger than 3rd on the left - maybe "first in the world dual selfie camera".. (though LG had dual camera for extra wide angle).

As well they not only made bezel manageable - it is actually narrower..

But we would have to see.

And they did deal with ram management making it currently the fastest phone available. I don't know why people like you act like its either/or when its not.

If you really wanted to complain you should be saying you'd rather have a slightly cheaper device or something. But how much does the iris scanner actually add to the cost? Probably not much.

Love how thin the top bezels are. Very little room to make this device even more compact, especially with the curve, which was done pretty well seeing as how the actual display doesn't curve much so it won't bother the pen.

Does this iris scanner detects the anger from the users eyes (due to trying to find a power plug for the aged, non charge holding battery just after 1-1.5 year)?

Pl samsung , majority of people here don't want an edge phone for Note series.. instead add dedicated memory card or 128 GB internal memory... More important please add DUAL sim option.. ( all mid range phones have dual sim capability).. IR blaster is also on request list by many... Rest whatever upgradation over Note 5 is inserted , we are happy with that...

Honestly, I couldn't care less. Just one more way for your identity to be sold off on the black market. First fingerprint, now iris scanner? Aren't these the quintessential top level authentication stuff?? How about improving battery life and work on your RAM management, Samsung?

LG superfan, 30 Jun 2016Apple isnt that fast it will be copied in like iphone 8s or 9their that fast, if and this is a big if, it hasn't been patented , they can hurry up and make a patent, and claim the innovated the whole thing and made it mainstream. and if their lawyers say they can sue everyone else who did it before them. after all , they actually patented a rectangle. surprised they haven't sued builders yet , for most buildings being rectangle shaped.

Now every time you'd have to elevate your phone to eye level and give it a long stare to unlock it. Well tbh, how many times do you actually look at your phone's front side while unlocking it? I just press the side power button once to recognize me sitting at a table and the phone lying there, and my Z5 unlocks.
