Dell discontinues Venue Android tablet line-up, says no to OS upgrades as well

Dell has revealed that it's discontinuing its Android-powered Venue tablet line-up. "The slate tablet market is over-saturated and is experiencing declining demand from consumers, so we’ve decided to discontinue the Android-based Venue tablet line," the computer tech company said.

    Thank God I got myself an Apple tablet instead of this Dell..

      only buy samsung, apple and sony tablets. all other manufacturers dont push OS updates. i almost bought this tablet when it went on sale, luckily i didnt.

          Why to release product that you never update. Many people dont know about updates so they take advantage of giving oblivion to updates. Further more its not te forst Android device by dell that they dont give a damn once the product went of the shelve. My advice stay away from dell androod devices.

            I had Dell Venue 7 for about 2 years, it was good but NO updates just 1 though when I bought. Now I have iPad Air 2 which is awesome!

                Wise choice by Dell. Even Apple has realised that the 2 in 1 market is the way to go. Although making their 12 and 9.7 inch ipads run on iOS instead of Mac is a dull idea.
