Zack, 02 Jul 2016What are you on about? Windows 10 is the most stable OS eve... moreWell, I purchased 3 Pc's with windows 10 pre loaded on them. all of them suffer from this crazy start menu and metro apps bug where all the metro apps and startmenu would stop working. Honestly, I use my Pc for desktop apps solely. I dont require metro apps all the time.
There are Two control panels now- one in metro style and the other old fashioned. The task manager is now updated but I loved the old one- killing tasks was so much easier.

I agree the speed and boot limes are quick compared to Win7 but it certainly is not the most stable OS. My hackintosh works better than 10. The compatibility of older apps have been ruled out. The metro apps take a while to load as compared to the old school desktop apps (Calc, Photo viewer, etc). The slide up lockscreen is a gimmick and increases a step to login into windows. Microsoft is long way from making a fluid OS.

Microsoft is shifting from being a software company to a hardware company. They should work solely on optimizing their new buggy Windows 10. I bet it wants to establish itself next to Apple but without a proper working OS hardware is useless. Can take example of its Lumia phones and Crappy Mobile OS. It's lagging behind in features as well as usability. same with the Desktop OS. Windows 7 was the last Great product from Bill Gates apart from his daughter.

Zack, 01 Jul 2016Make it affordable!!! Dear Lord for crying out loud make it... moreThe point of MS releases is to provide a premium reference design for other OEMs to follow. It will not be affordable. The OEMs will then compete to create designs that are affordable.

And it will cost $1099 for the low end model.
