i am an one plus 3 owner. not even six months since i purchased the phone. the product quality is so poor that it made me visit the service center 3 times, those are as follows:-
7/10/16:-b2x newtown kolkata .my device was going into fast boot mode in its own and volume buttons was behaving abnormally.
os was reinstalled .
14/10/16:-b2x newtown kolkata.my device was going into fast boot mode in its own and volume buttons was behaving abnormally.
os was reinstalled .
2/12/16:-b2x newtown kolkata. my device is presently with them and them with the same issue and they are clamming that there is a liquid damage, in spite of any contact of liquid with my phone. and the are even clamming that the so called aluminum back panel is rusting, as far my knowledge goes i don't think aluminium rusts . b2x newtown kolkata service center engineers are clamming it to be so.
i am fed-up with this company and there service centers and i am afraid that by making products of this standards, how many days they will be surviving in the market. worst product experience i had ever had. the company made me compel to make a complain against them to the consumer court. i will definitely be doing so .i want full compensation of your companies fault deeds.

I have the One Plus 3, excellent phone, excellent battery, excellent charge time, excellent fingerprint scanner, never crashes, and it is just purely amazing. My brother has a Note 7 and my phone, even for more than half the price, can still almost have a more superior experience, which is just astonishing in my opinion. Is it worth $400? Yes. This is something you'd get from a $600+ price range.
(I've had mine for about 1-2 months now)

Jeff, 04 Jul 2016thing is it is priced competitively, and only that. OP3's c... moreI said the phone good because of the following things:

        - Dash charging
        - Lightning fast fingerprint sensor
        - Build quality (see the bend test on Youtube)
        - 6 gigs of RAM, and more importantly, clean stock Android OS, which is a HUGE advantage. Also the XDA has great devs supporting the phone, which is really important more often than you think
        - Camera is not up to the mark with other big brand flagships, surely, but its not that bad either, however the video quality was really poor to my eyes, along with the recorded audio
        - Price obviously

I myself won't get one, but even as a Note 4 user I spent time reading reviews of phone from multiple sources, because it really felt like a true "value for money" phone, but I could be wrong, even if I did get that it would be as a secondary phone, cause I do care about brands and will keep caring forever, but they have to be a little practical when pricing their phones too! S7, G5, HTC 10, 75% higher priced than OP3, is that really practical? Don't think so!

OnePlus's customer service is the worst on the Earth, they promise everything, but do not nothing. If you will have any issues (RMA, repair, etc...) you would not count on them. that is the real price of cheap phone. that service is far from EU quality, I warned you!

AnonD-442781, 04 Jul 2016What are you talking about? It compares well to all the oth... moreWhat's important is not what it compares well to given its price, but what it doesn't compare well to given it's price. There's no better example than the ZTE Axon 7, a phone that would rendered the OP3 obsolete had it launched a month or two earlier. The fact is, the OP3 doesn't compare well to the Axon 7. You can argue that the Axon 7 costs $50 more, but I'd counter that you're getting $200 more phone for that $50.

The OP3 is a deal. The Axon 7 is a steal.

P.S. immediate availability is not a feature.

What is it that makes you think its a knock off? What concessions are you seeing in the device? Looks like you're just being a racist with biased, stereotypical views.

Even if you come up with 10 reasons it will still be lame cause a year is too long a period in mobile industry. Like how S7 was seen as a breakthrough while being just a little better than a phone from last year and inferior to its predecessor in many fields.
The problem is that the industry has lately become really stagnant which has given these chinese knockoffs some time to catch up. All of the phones released this year so far have been underwhelming. I suppose we need to wait for next year to see real advancement.

S7 retails for 750e or 850e(edge) here. OP3 being 400e makes it a very appealing compromise. S7 is the better phone for sure, but I don't think it's good enough to pay double the price.

The video recording is the only area where OP3 could take some serious work. The stabilization is iffy at best and the noise cancellation seems counter productive. I would imagine they could deal with these issues with software updates. Filling the back a little more with battery to cover the camera hump would have been nice. I guess the slim figure and being light weight makes it a little more comfy to operate with one hand.

Honestly super Amoled aka (optic Amoled) is fantastic..I don't see any pixelation. Only con is if they provided a micro SD card slot this would be best phone hands down.. 😉

OP3's camera sucks in comparison to the current crop of flagships i dont even know why you're saying it's good (even mid-tier devices beat this check DxO). no additional features unique to the phone like an always-on display... but i must say that the OS on OP3 is pretty cool, has a lot of nifty features whilst keeping a clean stock look and feel. i hope this rom gets ported over to other phones

Sony Xperia X poor profermance heat issue waste of money better than10 times oneplus x

The phone has great build quality. Camera is very good too. Main issue was garbage display, that is now fixed! So what is holding this phone back? 1080p? Hmm, okay, other than that? Probably non-existent After Sales Support, but if one could ignore those two then I think this phone is priced just great, and other "overpriced" so called flagship phones should take a hint from this. Like S7, HTC 10, LG G5, all are priced nearly 75-80% more than this, do we get 75% more stuffs from those phones? LOL! Nowhere near! So yeah, its actually their problem now how they wanna price their flagships, obviously a Samsung or HTC made phone will be highly priced than OnePlus for obvious reasons but the extent has to be reconsidered, otherwise they might face problem in long run!

Not even counting Sony and iPhones here, cause they are the definition of overpriced garbage products, so I think those should remain in so called first world countries.
