Senates won't leave it alone as is; they ought to implement proprietary chip/algorithm to encrypt in/out data to make it stronger. Stronger is just an inclination, the fact that it's hack-able is unavoidable.

Well, jst my assumption. Shall they leave it as is then they're stupid.

.., 02 Jul 2016how come my never rooted phone got a virus on it and even ... moreWhich is your Android version? This is what Google fixed in security updates.. This happens when you surf through porn sites with Java enabled browser. The hack come through java but it's fixed in new versions. I don't know which phone you have but if there is custom rom available then just install that. Your problem will be fixed. It's android brother.... There is always solution for every problem. Samsung, Motorola, nexus, HTC, LG they all updates security updates now. If you have any cheap Chinese set then you have to find their original rom. Good luck...

Google is working really hard to give us a good OS. Senate won't allow if there was any security risk in Android . So cut the crap and don't be a fool . You are not using an android phone may be a user four years back but not now. Buy a S7 and findout how far it's came from since the last time you have seen an android phone.

Jolla phone was available in India. Since then they must be doing something on that OS. I was actually waiting for that on a new hardware but it's looks like they are so lazy, people gonna forget about them if they handle company like this, just like you said. I wish someone realize the power and how nice that looking as a phone OS and one of them is Blackberry. Because they can design top notch hardware and BB10 'WAS' also based on gestures . But sailfish OS is really looking nice BB10. If blackberry using that OS then we know it is capable to use as a secured phone.....

The market is a cruel place. You either adapt and play the game or you just stagnate and be left to crumble to the ground.
