I am still waiting for this phablet in my country in Africa Ghana to be precised. I need one for watching videos and browsing. I figure out that it would be fantastic.

Honor V8 Max 6.6 " will be announced on August 1, 2016. The price $300 with 2K display, 3 GB/32 GB or 4 GB/64 GB, 4400 mAH battery, but no dual camera like Honor V8 5.7"

Read GSMARENA's reviews of most Kirin running Huawei and you will learn what I mean. Oh and please don't look at the numbers too much, they frustrate you.
I was QHD screen is gonna put a lot of strain on the GPU as again I mention, Kirin's are always paired with weak GPU's. Do you get it now?
High end 3D games are gonna be problematic on this phone that's my worry not yo benchmarks.

It's up to the real world performance when it comes out, and that why BlazyB stated his concern due to the past records of Kirin weak performance on GPU.
I reckon in real world performance it may aren't much different than SD650, probably better and more stable, based on my experience on Mate 8 and Mi Max.

I'm currently rocking the awesome 6.8" P8Max and I love it! The only downside is that it doesn't support LTE bands in north America. 3G works fine and battery life is amazing (4360 mhA). I use this phone for everything: work, games, browsing, social, movies, music... oh, and as an actual phone sometimes (I hardly ever talk on the phone anymore ;-)).

What matters is real world performance and that's perfect compared to Adreno. Don't judge it if you haven't used its GPU.
