Wow this is so fail for American cell phone carriers. Now we know that the carriers didn't design their own phones. They just had a selection of design that Samsung already pre-made. The China Telecom one is identical to the AT&T version. What does that tell you about the design? It wasn't even designed by them......This sheds a lot of light on me.

I purchased my vibrant and have had it for over a week. The photos that come from this phone are as good as my sony digital camera. Video Recording, outstanding. Utilization of night mode is superb.
The vibrant S is the true champion in smart phones to date.

Samsung must provide Good Flash on Galaxy-S.
It diminish it`s image of not integrating a camera flash which must be accompanied with dedicated camera key.
Samsung why dont u hear this as it also let your fans down as after all the details which i provided to a few of my friends but they still bought diff phones ( Motorola Milestone and HTC )
I my seft did not buy this and own ur WAVE due to this flaw.

So everyone is saying if it had a flash then there is nothing else wrong with it so it is near perfect as I don't need a flash mine is perfect running new firmware, lag fix, rooted and launcher pro installed.

LOL @ no camera flash.
For the specs it has now adding a flash would:
A. add to the cost
B. add to the size
They have included all the features you would want in a phone and left out the very minor wants e.g flash. To keep it an high end phone for that price, you shouldnt be complaining.

How about all those main disavantages for Iphone 4? is IPhone 4 really better than Galaxy S, with just an little advantage - flash?

We need more phones that run on 1700mhz. I hate having to go through uptight t-mobile customers who don't like selling they're locked phones internationally (as if Canada is some distant rogue nation). Wind, the company that only supports this frequency has god awful phones and they're plans are at least $20-30 cheaper with no contracts.

with this fone u dont need a flash buddy...people are retarded if to them thats a reason not to buy a fone if u want a good flash LED is terrible anyways....
