sRGB in OP3 is somehow modified from usual sRGB, some colors like white are too yellow.

One person that makes some changes to add features/fixing things is not responsible for millions of customers who buy the phone. If some thing does not work no one is going to return their phones for that reason. Where as any manufacturer should take in to considerations lots of permutations combinations and market scenarios and approvals while releasing any update. Dont over simplify things

I upgraded when they started to roll the update. No problems for me so far. The RAM management is fixed, I was able to open plenty of games and instantly switch between them. The sRGB mode is present, although I prefer the original settings, with more saturated colors.

No one denies the fact that other mobile phones also face some bugs. So it is not that only OP3 has problems.
But the major issue is the way companies like OP3 are tapping on the aspirations of middle class to have a premium device feel in hand with out shelling out their whole monthly salary or even more.
Low cost is become an excuse for providing less desirable service to the users. This is the main reason why people criticize OP3 this year and OP2 last year.
On the other hand people trUST companies like Motorola in budget segment and samsung, apple in premium segment as they do not give lame excuses. There people can openly criticize if they face some bugs.
But in case of OP3 , it is a close ended deal. If you are lucky it is fine. If you are not and face some bug, you have to live with that as you paid less.

Flossy420, 06 Jul 2016Apps don't stay in memory (apps reopen after 20 apps are al... moreup to my experience with computers says every ones of them like to utilise 50℅ to 75℅ of RAM at any given time, its normal. also when it comes to android, a lot of them (because of different reason) like to run few application in the background depending on the USER information found from Google accounts.
so it's obvious that for being a phone with bigger RAM it have a tendency of opening more apps in background.
to give you a prospective or analogy if we say, your smartphone won't bother to inform you about how many social application are running in the background to get in time notification.
also phone are incapable of switching off RAM.so if you have more RAM it's makes more sense to use more.

Carl pei (the ceo) says that this is for the benefit of the user for a more pleasent experience and battery saving but i don't think so, if you utilize this much ram and not use half of it you might as well get a phone with 2 gb of ram

Well I just updated my Oneplus 3 to Oxygen OS 3.2.0 Via ADB Sideload. It's working fine. No problems whatsoever. Will Update if there is any issue.

Akinaro, 05 Jul 2016Of course updates are complicated for mobile devices, but I... moreThe single person you're talking about only edits some stuff or adds some code he found somewhere to add more features, but the hired team has to build everything from scratch (kernel and stuff), If you think a single person could do it with ease and add many features with no bugs, you must be out of your mind. Just because they fu*ked up with ram management it doesn't mean that they have done a bad job. In fact, they've done a really great job. One person modifying the kernel, adding features and stuff would do more mistakes than whole team working on a project from scratch.

Of course updates are complicated for mobile devices, but I always find it funny that all big companies have such problems with updates. Mostly because almost always its not hardware/user side problem, but some really basic errors made by programmers and testers...
But here is funny part. We talk about companies that hire LOTS of people(overall not only OnePlus) and make LOTS of money... and they have so much problems.
And now look at any community, like for example xda(most known but not only one there), and see how sometimes ONE PERSON sometimes in less than month can fix devices problems and even add some features that OEM didnt include. And who test those devices? users, normal people. sometimes its 10 users sometimes 1000 depending on device. All for free, in really short time compared to big company that hire lots of people and pay them.
Someone could say that "quality" would be worst... I will seriously not comment such reasoning.
So you know, basically its hilarious that companies that make millions on devices that we have still can be beaten by normal users by amount of fixes and updates...
(Of course Im not talking about every update and system)
