AnonD-94604, 11 Jul 2016axon 7 is the first phone to support daydream. it only has ... moreMy bad. It is supposed to support 4k displays, not work exclusively on 4k displays. I misread it somewhere.

I'd prefer them to exclusively support 4k, though, to push the technology further.

Daydream requires 4k screen, not usb type C.

AnonD-546059, 06 Jul 2016i think all of these will be unveiled starting in india i genuinely doubt it. I am from India, and even though the products are brought in India for R&D purposes, they are usually unveiled by Samsung in US first. After that, maybe in another 2-3 weeks, Samsung holds an Indian unveiling. Thats how its been for 2-3 years now.

Idk if this is true but the revamped gear VR is to compatible with google's daydream VR... from Axon 7 we can see that the specs of it and s7 is pretty much the same and the only difference is usb-c, perhaps to be daydream ready, it needs usb-c?
