Don't bother. Would be great for a year. Then get bootloop. LG G4 owner with boot loop issue here

"Lottery" with posible bootloop turned me away from this phone. Check google, there is literally thousands on complaints in various languages/forums. Sad thing LG didnt even clarified is newer revisions fixed or not.

well guys this not about thinking in what if ... if u like it like me and u don't bother in things that might not happen to your phone then why bother people that might be interested too... if u got a low end device for that or even more money cry on it guys .... besides this phone is way better than a lot out there and at this price .. I don't think that all of these devices are bootloop phone ... plus the phone price is cheap .. im not rich but it will not break a leg or arm if it gets the bootloop if I can fix it ill do it if I cant then trash wait that simple ... I have a lg g2 and I can say that the phone is perfect no issue better battery life than many out there im aware about the low battery for the g4 but I really want to try the manual camera mode and the camera improvement. if some one things that lg make crappy phone id suggest to chek out why im so proud of my g2 .....type g2 vs Samsung s6 and u ll see why Samsung phones are crap even when newers devices ..... lg destroys the s6 toy don't talk about crappy bench but os and ux performace , ram, ...

Beware: All versions except T-Mobile H811 and The European H815 have locked bootloaders which LG refuses to unlock. The North American Variant also carries the H815 model number - be careful. This has made root on Marshmallow impossible. There is no solution for this and it has been an ongoing concern for several months now. The popular consensus is that the developers have given up on this device. This device is also plagued with hardware issues. My G4's screen is defective -- displaying horrible pixel retention and a pink hue when displaying grays and blacks. This problem seems to be somewhat common. My phone still boots, which is more than can be said for a lot of G4 owners. I would definitely not recommend this phone to power users. LG needs to build/use better hardware. I would have bought a G5 in a heartbeat if I trusted it not to break in a year.

Yes. I have a bootloop issue. The pain is i lost all my valuable infomation. Sold it after get the repair warranty

It's all true! I had one and it "committed suicide" 6 months after. Company takes no responsibility for it.
I'm done with LG and I suggest you'll do the same!

LG phones usually have some type of hardware problem. I'll stay away from them from now on.
I am saddened by it because of that as their phones are pretty nice with really good cameras.
I would advise everyone reading this not to buy a G4. If you don't want warranty, LG will not fix your phone for free. If you do have warranty, they will fix it in the first year but I have heard from others that the bootloop returned even with the "fixed" device/motherboard.

potential buyers BEWARE! many LG G4s are infected with the fatal BOOTLOG flaw which renders the phone useless unless you swap the motherboard or conduct an extensive repair.
