It better have OIS. If the reason that there's no camera hump is because they dropped the OIS from the HTC 10, then that is a dumb trade off, and will be yet another compromised Nexus camera. The HTC 10 is a great phone. Just adapt it to be Nexus and leave well enough alone. Sometimes it just seems like Google always has to come up with a way to make the Nexus fall short.

I don't like that G logo. It's going to be annoying if it has a G logo and does not say Nexus. People who like the Nexus phones are invested at this point in the Nexus brand. I don't understand why companies constantly change things like that. You have a brand identity and then you throw it out the door.

Many people do not understand that it's Google who is designing the majority of the phone. Why bash HTC or any manufacture for that matter. Google is the one to be bashed if necessary

The camera and the ram is a bummer. Should have been 20mp and 6gb ram for ghe 5.5" version. The design is not bad. Please don't be a glass back. And the fact that Google had revealed they only support Nexus phone for 2 years doesn't make it any more attractive than other phone.

It is not a HTC design really. They have their hands partially tied behind their back to some extent. However, it is only a mock. Never be frightened of using the colour palate in creating style and something with character. Personally the HTC A9 body smooth perfection and faultless finger scanner is in the most practical place. I use it all the time. I would hate to try find, place locate a rear one. Look forward to seeing more.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2016Super disappointing that manufacturers do not place emphasi... moreIf you wanted smaller bezels, then the phone would have to either be thicker or taller or wider, to house the battery and all the internal components.
People seem to not understand that it's a tradeoff.
If they made the bezels smaller, people would complain about something else. It has nothing to do with manufacturers not prioritizing this. It has to do with it being impossible to please everyone.

That huge glossy area on the top of the back looks bad. I hope they drop that. And please let it not be glass. Glass on the back of a phone is the stupidest idea every. Google was supposed to have learned that lesson from the Nexus 4.

Too much BEZEL!
Urgh. A Nexus that is 5-5.2" with a SD820 would be my perfect phone, but not if the body is the size of a 5.5" phone! I should have known with LG being the champions of small bezels previously and then moving to large bezels with the G5 and 5X. HTC were bad enough already so of course their nexus would be bad since Google seemes to think large bezels is what makes iPhones popular... well if you look at the change in design for the 6->6P and 5->5X that is certainly the take away.

Super disappointing that manufacturers do not place emphasis on minimizing bezel size.
