Fujifilm announces X-T2 flagship mirrorless camera

Fujifilm has announced the top of the line model in the X-series, the X-T2. The new camera comes with a 24.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro. It has an ISO range of 100 to 6400 and for the first time on an X-series camera can record 4K video up to 30fps.

I know, but I was answering the question of the other person :).

Fuji's cameras are special, unique, with very nice lenses.
I'd like to have one but with the body of a Sony a6300.

I bought a fuji because their glass is second to none and the results from their sensors are the right balance between accurate and lifelike, best skin tones I've seen as well.

      Olympus E-M5 mark ii is weather sealed and cheaper.
      Panasonic GX8 is weather sealed and cheaper.

      Fuji is just expensive and cheats with ISO. Lovely image quality (JPEG) though but grass and green areas are smudged because of the noise reduction.

        Note7, 07 Jul 2016I have purchased two digital cameras from Sony (RX 100 and ... moreTrust me, the Sony a6300 you bought is way more fun. Faster focus, more natural results, superb video quality, extremely good grip (The best in APS-C mirrorless), etc.
        I tried an x-e2s for a day and I didn't like it at all. Very hard and slow to use. What's weird is the body was pretty cheaply constructed yet they charge so much for it. The lens is very high quality though.
        I once owned a Fuji x-a1, I didn't like it.
        Good color reproduction.

        I have an a6000 now (I really like it but dislike the chroma noise) and a Panasonic GF7 (for my wife) and those are pretty great cameras.
        My favorite camera is the D5500 I once owned, and the D3300 also. I love the Nikon system, it is so easy and use friendly. Very easy to change ISO, etc. but unfortunately I decided that I want to stick with smaller cameras, so I'm stuck with mirrorless ones.

Didn't want to shell out fortune only to depend on overseas service centers. I have never used Fujifilm Digital Cameras, but I feel they may not survive the battle with their selective approach. Reviews are generally good but you get Sony RX1RII (for a big price) that ticks most of the checkboxes and damn compact size.

And the quality is bound to show. You can't expect a cheap price from that. Sure, you can get a better camera for less but will it be as reliable in a variety of weather conditions?

                  Looks good, once again overpriced like the x-pro 2, but they are quality products.
                  There are many cameras with the same image quality for almost a third of the price though.

                    Unless fujifilm plans its distribution and service centres well, I don't see it being a challenger to Nikon, can or Sony.
                    In India it is very difficult to find a store to purchase a Fuji camera, let alone it's lenses which are even rarer. God forbids if something happens to your camera and you have to take it to the shop, spare parts might be non existent.
                    Also unlike cellphones , cameras are something people don't actually change every year.
