Most phone components are designed and built in Asia but we also have Helio or Mediatek SOCs designed in Asia.
China has become a true powerhouse when it comes to smartphones.

stay away from xiaomi and other chinese brand. on paper spec xiaomi looks promising, but in reality they are far apart. xiaomi definately got their marketing right following apple style but devices are not up to the mark.
Flagship phone of the year mi 4i which is improved version of mi4. it only took me 1 month of fall out love not just phone but the brand itself. phones battery drains fast even though battery power if big, phone gets of for no reason, and the backup software is not working as it supposed to be. overall the software is flash software, deep inside it has many issues only outer side is flashy. even with 2gb ram phone lags badly.

Come on, yet another mi5? Instead of this BS why don't Xiaomi make the regular one FULLY usable outside China? Include the goddamn LTE band 20 so we can buy them too in Europe instead of all these goddamn gimmicks!

Your iphone is made in china, your TV is made in china, your backup drive is made in china, your printer is made in china. So why complain when you own most of your things is made in china? you won't see your iphone made in US. that ain't gonna happen while you shedding your money out and crying for made in something else country.
