KERS, 11 Jul 20161) Along with Wi-Fi TFT is most misused term in IT. Wi-Fi ... moreThank you KERS for replying.. Thank you for the Explanation. Yes.. I do know about the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers Standard 802.11 a/b/g/n Certification a.k.a. Wireless Fidelity and the Upcoming 5G alias WiMAX (Wireless Interoperability of Microwave Access) which is a High Data Usage Forum that is working on producing Higher Baudrates in the Given Bandwith of the Radio Spectrum.

TFT more or less is an old screen technology, as you said many people confuse within TFT (Thin Film Transistor), LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic LED), PMOLED (Passive Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode), and PLLD (Polymer Linked Light Diffusing Display Used in Curved Displays), which mainly have LEDs as their backlight. Switching of Transistors lead to Residual voltage across the terminals and hence the older displays cannot give pure contrasting black.

This Month End As these Will be Releasing Pan India, Will Purchase One... ₹13,500

Sri, 10 Jul 2016Hello Guys.. It is much fascinating to learn that the Sams... more1) Along with Wi-Fi TFT is most misused term in IT.
Wi-Fi stands for a certificate and an organization which grants such certificate. The Actual Name of this technology is 802.11 or WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) to distinguish from 802.16 Wi-Max which is WMAN (Wireless Metropolitan Area Network).

TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor and can be met both in LCD and OLED Displays. But, usually this term is misused to refer casual (non-IPS) LCD-s.

What is IPS? IPS is good thing, it offers better contrast and viewing angles than traditional LCD.

There are also IPS Neo and PLS (Samsung rival to IPS), but I think , they also haven't made their way to this phone.

As for color accuracy, it more depends on calibrating display than technology. There had been many good and bad AMOLED-s as well as LCD-s.

                2. Given 8.7 mm thickness, I think there its enough space to make battery removable.
                4. Given budget specs, low price and Samsung's policy, I think It won't get any update at all.
Marshmallow was released eight months ago. If sammy worried about updates, then shouldn't have released phone with two generation old OS (Nougat is already coming).

                    Hello Guys..
It is much fascinating to learn that the Samsung Galaxy J Max has been announced. I have some queries regarding the device and need clarification.

                    1. The Screen size at 7" is a Good thing, But will the TFT screen look more dull or glazed and will this reproduce the colour details as sharp as SAMOLED.

                    2. The 4000mAh Battery sounds Good.. But Is it User Replaceable.. In other words can the user can access the Battery or will it come sealed at the factory as it is the case with many other tablets.

                    3. Is the SIM Micro or Nano.

                    4. Lollipop... Will this get Marshmallow.. Or Nougat Atleast..

All in all.. It sounds like the JMax is Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 G7102 Magnified in Size with almost same specifications save Battery, Screensize. At 13,500 it is quite a decent one..

I am currently using My Galaxy Note 4 with Android Marshmallow.

In every iPhone I've seen from 4S to 6. I've seen some improvement despite staying the same crappy 8 MP. so even if specifically it's the same. don't judge until you try. :P

Battery is not impressive at all. They use their giant amounts of mah everywhere but when their phones data goes up all the time then respectively they need more battery so in fact the same 4000 mah brings less efficiency. I am not sure how they want to continue like that but definetly i will not pay money for any new samsung device. I will wait when they do really nice batteries like Holger Schubarts minute charhing batteries and then i will consider it for purchasing.

And about this thing, it is a calling tablet. Over.
And if someone wants a gigantic phablet with phone like bezels (unlike this one), MI max is much better.
