What do you think about the IP68 rating? This is a rating system set forth by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to inform consumers of how well protected an electronic device is against foreign bodies.
You should try using Galaxy S7 Active (water-resistance).

Shame on AT&T. I blame them and not Samsung because its their exclusive device. Btw, this phone only exist in US. Not a world problem. Not a big deal for the rest of the world. Not my problem. Samsung US is as expected, dumb. That country can't make phone at all.

Let's speculate?
Samsung would make a statement: RTFM
"Natural cause only, no pressurized tank."

Consumer Reports?
The same company that claims the iPhone 6+ is nor bendable and other phones are way bendable?
Sorry, their reports have zero credibility now

what a bummer.... meh
Well Samsung, figure it out, and recall that b**** yo, this just can't be a twice in a row failure or bad SIM tray insertion.
It's not possible they would even get the MIL specification if it didn't pass the test to receive it so it's probably some bad issue on production line, likely to affect a big batch.

My s7 edge passed underwater test without issues. Is not it strange when fancy s7 and edge are ok under water but dedicated active is not? FCUK 😃

Funny how the rugged device which is actually meant for this kind of abuse, can't take a bit of a plunge. Samsung have done goofed on this one. No reason to buy the Active version this year around. AT&T can keep it!
