Anonymous, 12 Jul 2016Business? Haha, no removable battery for road warriors, no ... moreSorry you feel that way but none other than LG and some new obscure HP Windows 10 Mobile phone offers removable battery, IR blasters are becoming less common too. And from what I gather the N7 will have the 821 in it with 6GB of RAM and ~4000 mAh battery on top of the other specs. Those are beast mode specs man, top of the food chain stuff. Also they intentionally didn't release the N5 in Europe for w/e reason and tablets are practically history, it doesn't get anymore attention or buzz let alone sales.

since Notes are known to introduce new stuff that will eventually see the light of day on the rest of the Galaxy line... Here's hoping the upcoming will have at least 6gb of RAM, skip Marshmallow altogether and run on Nougat instead. We all know how horrendous Samsung's phones receive on getting the latest Android updates.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2016It's not sensible, it's silly. 6GB of RAM phones are much f... moreThat's because they have too much bloatware. A habit Samsung has only recently begun to unlearn. Optimization should be at the software level where too many low caliber junk software developers get away with sloppy coding due to raw horse power. Such lunacy must be put to an end. Every sort of battery life improvement is now being wasted by such pathetic devs at various companies. We don't need spec nerds to encourage this sort of subpar development. Refreshing RAM cells costs power, most don't even know this. More RAM is neither necessary nor the way forward, until mobile SoCs become as powerful as an X86 counterparts at running everything you can do on a budget laptop today. That's a bit far out to be realistic and by then even whats low end today on the x86 side becomes obsolete by then. There is a reason why mobile space will always be battery starved. For any real breakthrough they need strong innovations in battery tech before they try to push ridiculous specs into phones.

AnonD-259899, 11 Jul 20164GB should be the max, a sensible amount of RAM. 3600mA... moreIt's not sensible, it's silly. 6GB of RAM phones are much faster because they have more apps cached in memory. Using 4GB in this day and age means your phone is not high end. Hell, even Chinese mid rangers have 4GB these days...

Samsung is obviously de-emphasizing the Note Line. For example Note 5 did not sell (at all) in Europe, they didn't even bother to release it here.

I love the Note series in both tablet form and phone form. Unfortunately Samsung does not believe in that line anymore (too expensive to develop?). As a result no Note tablet anymore and phone Note are nothing special, they're just S phones with Pen...

Can't say I'm not a little disappointed, but these Note devices are for business oriented/creative minded people and the specs it's alleged to come with is no slouch, the most important thing is the S Pen support bc that's what truly makes a Note a Note in the end.

Rumors cause us all to be disappointed when we think the Note 7 is going to 6Gb Ram when it's really going to have 4Gb of Ram or when the Soc is going to be 820 instead of a 821 SoC.

So it's just better to wait for Samsung to reveal the truth. I've had mixed emotions where to buy or not to buy the Note 7 do to these rumors. It's just too confusing. So I am going to stop reading all these so called rumors and just wait for Samsung.

I want to replace my Note 2 for a new Android smartphone. I had high expectations for the Note 7, but now I think it will be a Galaxy S7 Edge Plus with stylus. I hope that tge rumours are not true. I realy want a Note 7, but only when it has a flat screen and not the ugly edges.

Ultra Maniac, 11 Jul 2016Exactly! There might be a Note7 'lite' or a 'Neo'. Remember... moreevery year it's the same thing: lot of rumors about a super powerful Note phone and at the end all we get it's a big version of the S phone with a stylus... and I don't see a Lite or Neo version coming up at the same time as the "Standard" Note version

3GB RAM?? well that might be neo, but it should also be considered for Flagship version as the samsung and many other brands have realized that RAM in excess of 3 GB is of no use yet, and i wish they switch back to 3gb ram, so that this war of rams comes to a halt for the time being.
