Too bad, they lied again with all the device supposed to get the rom on this july 11. Turns out with sudden change of plan without any notice. So much raging bloods and shedding tears on the MIUI forum lol.
Well, personally upgrade to a BETA rom is not a good idea either. Too many bugs might end you up frustrating than to excite about. some people had battery drain issue on 6.0 while 4.4 remains the longest battery life.
Until then, wait for official MIUI 8 around aug to sept (probably delayed longer as usual). or go for MIUI 7.5 stable instead.

Redmi note 3 being their top selling device so far doesn't get any kind of marshmallow update nor miui 8 yet,what a joke ,even much lower variant redmi3 s comes marshmallow out of box.

You people are complaining so much about Xiaomi but Samsung phones unless they are flagships does not support their phones at all. Wait paiently and updates will come.

One reports bugs to Xiaomi forum, Xiaomi not only won't fix, be it software or hardware, but will close your report as "solved" without solving.
