Silly, 13 Jul 20166GB RAM and A good android experience is NOTHING compared t... moreNot available here unlike 1+3. Stupid QHD screen on a phone which only causes throttling and battery drainage. More expensive then 1+3. Worse OS support then 1+3.
1+3 wins for me, but this one holds a nice 2nd place, then at 3rd S7.

Lots of Chinese variant reviews out there for the Axon 7. States variant will have many tweeks to camera software and a few upgrades. ZTE really wants to be a big player in the US market with a high spec phone and it looks like they aren't taking any chances by (release date was delayed to make more adjustments) i.e. capacitive keys, were originally going to release with soft keys on screen but, beta testers demanded capacitive like Asain variant. Now that is commitment to there goal!✌

jimmy, 13 Jul 2016i can give up replaceable battery, but i refuse to give up ... moreThat's quite a legit point. What is the use of those high ppi's if you can even store those HD movies.

This isn't even a competition at this point, more RAM vs all the extra goodies you get with the Axon 7, I'd go with the latter every time especially since adding more than 3-4GB of RAM is just a cheap sales gimmick that these Chinese companies started.

Get the Axon 7 if you want it's a perfectly capable phone but don't knock an already great phone (at least on paper) like the Note 7.

ZTE, we're waiting for the 6GB model to go on sale in Europe, and everywhere!

since Samsung has gone crazy with its Note 7, overpricing it at shameless 850 EUR, many of us will be looking for Note 4 replacements elsewhere.

And the more i look, the answer seems to always be ZTE Axon 7 6GB...

Why ZTE is focusing only in US market?! i mean...i am from Portugal, last year Axon are one of my choise to buy a new phone but here i can see one store selling it!

Of course is for the specs i want one, the stereo speakers, the audio DAC etc etc (not the design because i dont like it so much)...

ZTE is making errors in theyr sales department...see Huawei, Huawei is making the best marketing and sales worldwide because they know what they doing...ZTE no, ZTE trying to be aiple but forget US only care about high pricetag phones with low specs like iphony! - ZTE, opne your mind and bring your phones to Europe.....NOOOOW!

I assumed it was a supply/demand issue, but at $399!!! Awesome!, ill just wait for US release. I hope this phone gets as good reviews as the OP3 (Camera - overall).

Interestingly, I can get a LG G5 for $399 now - which I almost purchased until today.

6GB RAM and A good android experience is NOTHING compared to a Sharp QHD Display, Daydream Compatibility (therefore Future Proof), Awesome Dolby Atmos Front facing Stereo Speakers, Micro SD card slot (doubling as a SIM card slot, so dual SIM capability), 20 Megapixel main camera with OIS, EIS, etc, AND Finally a MORE Original Design and durability by BMWDesignWorks...... OK DOES THIS LIST CLEAR DOUBTS regarding which smartphone to purchase........... It seriously cant get more obvious than this.....there is no argument here, Axon 7 is the way to go people.

Trey, 13 Jul 2016How is this a better bargain when compared to OP3? It clear... moreRAM isn't everything, 4GB is plenty, what process even takes 4gb of RAM, let alone 6? This phone is better than the OP3, better sound quality, both headphones and speakers, QHD screen unlike OP3, microsd card slot as well as a larger battery.

so basically if you have 700$ to shell out for an S7, do get it.
If you don't, then basically get the Axon 7 for 399$.

How is this a better bargain when compared to OP3? It clearly states $399 for the 4GB variant. OP3 has got 6GB.

If they adjust the prices accordingly in Europe and the phone gets some proper development I will totally buy it. Daydream certification, microSD support and the superior sound just kill the OP3, but for now it is 450€ vs 400$ and not even root available...
