But I have come across many who have S6s and Notes who don't know there's an IR blaster on their phones.

Absolutely beautiful phone. Although i admit i would have liked it more if it had design elements from the note 4. Cant really complain though. As for the ir blaster, it would be nice to have it, but only lazy people peg it as a necessity. I use it often but i can definitely live without it. We do have remotes lol.

Not many people care about It and a 3600 or 4000 mah battery with fast charge is adequate for most users. The note battery life has always been up among the best.

The bottleneck at the moment is sensor size, and it'll always be the bottleneck. So unless there is some magical revolutionary tech that allows us to overcome that, there is absolutely no point in increasing pixel count.

Not an interesting design. And another downside is that it only runs Android...
This would've been a much better phone if it ran Windows. It would've been a real productivity phablet, and businesses would buy it. But with Android, only the average, general consumers will buy it.

Dark metal side for black model .. it will be awesome if this becomes final product. Now that they are not launching white models in USA .. i am looking more interested in black model .. HTC 10 is by far the best dark metal phone out there right now.

Hi people that say is not and upgrade from previous gen, can you please tell what is consider and upgrade? -Please don't mention removable battery or more pixel camera (more pixels is not better quality).
